date night

On Monday night Eric and I had our first date night, just the two of us, in a long time.  We went out to celebrate our two birthdays, and Eric's parents took care of the boys.  We both put our phones away and ignored them completely and were able to just talk and enjoy each other's company.  It was wonderful!  Now we're wondering why it took us so long to have a date night... and how soon we'll be doing it again.
